The yield on the two-year U.S. Treasury note fell by 8 basis points to 4.16%, while the yield on the 10-year Treasury note dropped by 6 basis points to 4.62%. According to data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, non-farm payrolls decreased by 23,000 in July, with revisions to the previous two months' data showing significant downward adjustments. The unemployment rate fell to 4.1%, and the labor force participation rate continued to decline.
