Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Esmail Baghaei, stated that the discussions regarding a 60-day ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran are no longer meaningful. In a press briefing on the 17th, Baghaei explained that the U.S. had committed significant violations after signing a memorandum of understanding on June 18. The memorandum included provisions for discussions on 'sanctions relief' and 'nuclear issues' for 60 days, with an extension if no conclusion was reached within the timeframe. However, Baghaei emphasized that due to the U.S. violations, the 60-day ceasefire is no longer operational. He added that the Iranian military is monitoring all movements closely. Furthermore, he claimed that the region has become unstable due to U.S. military actions and stated that the U.S. must quickly extricate itself from the situation. Iran and Oman have agreed on a navigation route map for the Strait of Hormuz, but the timing for its announcement in a package format has yet to be determined. Iran and the U.S. entered a 60-day ceasefire starting June 17, which will expire on the 17th according to U.S. standards and on the 18th according to Korean time.
