XRPL to Launch Five-Point Upgrade Package Next Week

RippleX Product Head Jazzi Cooper announced that a comprehensive technological upgrade will be implemented on the XRPL network with the release of version xrpld 3.3.0. The upgrade will be published next week and new features will be activated following the review and approval process by independent community validators. The package consists of five key changes, and the technical specifications have been published on the open-source platform. The changes aim to facilitate the entry of traditional financial institutions into blockchain technology. Elements such as regulatory compliance, transaction security, and operational flexibility are highlighted. The upgrade will also support an institutional delivery versus payment model, where transactions will either be fully executed or canceled. Additionally, the package aims to simplify the end-user experience; large institutions will be able to cover network fees on behalf of their customers. It is planned that token parameters will be dynamically updated according to new legal requirements. The activation of new features is expected to occur after approval from independent community validators.
