FRNT Stablecoin Launched on LayerZero, Hedera Deployment Added
Prefer us on GoogleThe initial multi-chain deployment of Frontier Stablecoin (FRNT) has taken place on LayerZero, with subsequent confirmation of deployment to Hedera (HBAR). The Wyoming Stable Token Committee announced the launch of the FRNT mainnet on August 19, 2025, mentioning LayerZero as the token issuance partner. The deployment network includes seven blockchains: Arbitrum (ARB), Avalanche (AVAX), Base, Ethereum (ETH), Optimism (OP), Polygon (POL), and Solana (SOL). There is ongoing debate about whether FRNT has transitioned to the Chainlink (LINK) Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), and as of now, no official announcement has been made to confirm this. LayerZero stated that FRNT was first launched on January 7, 2026, and Hedera was selected as an additional candidate chain for FRNT on September 4, 2025, with FRNT being minted on Hedera EVM on March 12, 2026. The deployment on Hedera was conducted based on LayerZero, and FRNT is noted for being a stablecoin directly issued by a U.S. state government. FRNT is backed by the U.S. dollar and short-term treasury bonds, designed to maintain collateral exceeding 2% according to legal standards. So far, public records support the LayerZero-based launch and Hedera deployment, and the uncertainty regarding infrastructure reorganization remains until an official change notice is issued.
