Broadcom is projected to capture a value share of $250 billion to $350 billion (approximately 348 trillion to 487 trillion won) in Google's Tensor Processing Unit (TPU) supply chain. According to a report from Bank of America, Marvell Technology's new contract with Google is assessed not to directly shake Broadcom's core position in the TPU market. Marvell is linked to Google's cumulative purchase amount of up to $120 billion (approximately 167 trillion won) and is presented with a structure that could receive about 60 million shares. Bank of America estimates Google's total capital expenditure over the next five years to be between $150 billion and $200 billion (approximately 2087 trillion to 2782 trillion won), with the TPU system expected to account for 25% to 30%. The total effective market size related to TPUs is calculated to be between $400 billion and $600 billion (approximately 556 trillion to 835 trillion won), with Broadcom expected to hold a value share of 55% to 60% in this market. Marvell is projected to capture 10% to 20% through the XPU-attach area, amounting to approximately $50 billion to $100 billion (about 70 trillion to 139 trillion won). Broadcom has signed a long-term contract to develop and supply Google's next-generation TPU, which also includes guaranteed contracts to supply networking and other components until 2031.
