X (formerly Twitter) is accelerating its vision to become an “everything app” as CEO Linda Yaccarino officially confirmed the upcoming launch of XMoney later this year. The announcement was shared alongside a broader update on X’s evolving platform features and creator initiatives. The new XMoney service is expected to be part of a growing ecosystem that already includes the recently launched Video Tab and upcoming enhancements to direct messages. Yaccarino stated that all new features would be integrated into a single ecosystem driven by live engagement and artificial intelligence. Additionally, X Originals—a content initiative powered by prominent creators such as Khloé Kardashian and Anthony Pompliano—will debut new shows this summer, further positioning X as a media and commerce hub. The development of XMoney could mark a significant step in Elon Musk’s long-term vision for integrating payments and financial services directly into the X platform.
