The whale that once laid low during XPL's main uptrend, making a profit of over 16 million, is once again positioning itself, holding a total of $7.3 million in ASTER across two addresses.
BlockBeats News, February 3rd, according to Coinbob Popular Address Monitor, the former largest long whale on XPL on Hyperliquid (0x152) ambushed ASTER in the spot market 5 days ago and added to the position last night to go leveraged long. Its current 2x leveraged ASTER long position has increased to $5.55 million with an average price of $0.65, unrealized loss of $630,000 (-22%), liquidation price of $0.29, now the largest long on ASTER on Hyperliquid.
According to Arkham on-chain monitoring, the whale's on-chain domain is "neoyokio.eth", and its associated sub-address (0xfb5...) also synchronized to add to the position today, currently holding a 3x leveraged ASTER long position of approximately $1.85 million, with an average price of $0.56, liquidation price of $0.361, and the position has realized a slight floating profit. This sub-address has close fund flows with the main address, frequently engaging in swing trading on XPL and HYPE, with a historical win rate of over 80%.
The whale entered the scene on September 24th, averaging a 1x leveraged long position on XPL at $0.69 before a significant surge, with holdings reaching $20 million at one point, becoming the largest long on-chain during the main XPL uptrend, and later took profit by closing the position near $1.3, realizing a profit of approximately $16 million, at one time suspected of possessing insider XPL information. In addition, this address is also active in the Polymarket prediction market, currently holding positions in three markets.
