Robert Kiyosaki's $1.2 Billion Debt Linked to Joint Real Estate Investments
Robert Kiyosaki's $1.2 billion debt has been confirmed as the total liability of a joint real estate portfolio with partners, rather than personal debt. According to Vanity Fair, this debt is associated with a group of real estate investors linked to approximately 1,500 apartment units, with Kiyosaki's personal share estimated to be between $30 million and $60 million. Kiyosaki describes the debt as a means to acquire cash-flowing assets, stating that he increases borrowing against asset value and rental income through a real estate leverage structure. However, rising interest rates and falling asset prices could increase repayment burdens. Kiyosaki's comments on debt first surfaced on Instagram in November 2023 and have since been covered by various media outlets. He has repeatedly mentioned a preference for Bitcoin, gold, and silver, interpreting the U.S. Treasury's long-term bond buyback as quantitative easing. Kiyosaki's Bitcoin forecast suggests a price range of $175,000 to $350,000 by 2025, with a possibility of reaching $1 million, although this is his personal outlook and differs from market consensus. BTC was trading at around $78,000 on September 1, and Kiyosaki's debt remarks serve as an example of his investment philosophy, emphasizing the need to distinguish between personal financial status and joint investment structures.
