Prefer us on GoogleThe national teachers' strike called by CTERA will impact the return to classrooms on Monday, August 3, after the winter break in various provinces. The strike, driven by salary and labor demands, will have the support of several unions. The government of Javier Milei warned that it will monitor compliance with the 75% educational provision stipulated by current regulations. The protest demands the reopening of the National Teachers' Negotiation, an update of salaries, the restoration of the National Fund for Teacher Incentives (FONID), and a new educational financing law. There are also calls for increased investments in school infrastructure, cafeterias, scholarships, connectivity, and socio-educational programs.
