Ethereum Exchange Holdings Decrease to 14.88 Million ETH
The exchange holdings of Ethereum (ETH) have decreased to 14,882,226.7 ETH as of September 8, 2026. This is a reduction of approximately 6,418,950.5 ETH compared to 21,301,177.2 ETH on July 1, 2025. Pinbold reported that Ethereum holdings have been declining for about 14 months. Although exchange balances have reached a low point, it remains uncertain whether the decrease in supply will lead to a price increase. The decline in exchange holdings has been ongoing for the past few months, with BeInCrypto reporting a balance of 14,920,000 ETH as of September 1. The staking volume is at 43,100,000 ETH, accounting for 35.91% of the total circulating supply, while Lookonchain stated that 41,700,000 ETH has been staked. Additionally, funds have flowed into the U.S. spot Ethereum ETF, with a net inflow of approximately $23,450,000,000 since July 1. However, a slowdown in short-term demand has been observed, and the Coinbase Premium Index has also turned negative. The price resistance level is at $2,723, and if the support at $2,475 holds, the next price range will be indicated. While the decrease in exchange holdings and ETF inflows are positive from a supply perspective, further analysis is needed to determine if this will lead to a price increase.
