BlockBeats News, December 22, a member of the Hyperliquid team issued a clarification statement on the Discord channel regarding "Community Discovery of a Hyperliquid Team Address Shorting HYPE."
The team stated, "This address belongs to a former employee who was terminated in the first quarter of 2024, and that individual is currently not affiliated with Hyperliquid Labs in any way. Their actions do not represent our team's standards or values."
