Gasoline and Diesel Prices in Ukraine Remain Stable Amid Rising European Quotes

Gas prices at Ukrainian gas stations remain stable this week, despite the increase in European quotes for diesel fuel to $1,000 per ton. The average price of A-95 gasoline rose by 3 kopecks to 74.63 UAH/l, while diesel increased by 1 kopeck to 76.02 UAH/l. Gas station networks are showing different price fluctuations: the 'Market' network raised the price of gasoline by 1 UAH/l to 74.90 UAH/l, while 'Avtotrans' lowered the price by 1 UAH/l to 74.98 UAH/l. Diesel fuel has started to gradually rise after a decrease in prices in the first half of the week. Some networks increased the price of diesel by 50 kopecks/l and 1 UAH/l, while others slightly lowered it. Analysts note that the rise in European quotes may lead to an increase in retail prices. Autogas remains the only type of fuel with a trend towards cheaper prices: the wholesale price of liquefied gas rose by 490 UAH/ton to 63,200 UAH/ton, while the retail price decreased by 20 kopecks/l to 40.02 UAH/l. The difference between wholesale and retail prices is narrowing. Against the backdrop of geopolitical complexities, a possible increase in prices is expected, especially for diesel fuel.
