Fabrinet Falls Over 14%, Optical Communication Sector Declines Collectively

Coherent and Credo Technology dropped more than 7%, while MaxLinear fell over 6%. Lumentum and Corning also saw declines of over 4%. Fabrinet's revenue for the fourth fiscal quarter reached $1.316 billion, a 45% year-on-year increase, surpassing market expectations of approximately $1.27 billion, marking the twelfth consecutive quarter of record revenue. The market believes that its high growth expectations have been fully priced in, while the company still faces risks related to customer concentration and supply chain constraints for certain products.
