Economic Agenda: REM and Earnings Reports of Nine Argentine Stocks
The first week of August presents an economic agenda in Argentina and the U.S., with the July employment report in the U.S. that could influence the monetary policy of the Federal Reserve. Activity, employment, and service indicators will be published, as well as earnings reports from major technology and industrial companies.
Monday, August 3: Publication of microdata from the Permanent Household Survey (EPH) for the first quarter by INDEC. ARCA will release the tax collection for July. The final manufacturing PMIs for July will be known for the Eurozone, the United Kingdom, and the U.S. Earnings reports from Palantir Technologies, Transportadora Gas del Sur (TGS), and Transener.
Tuesday, August 4: Continuation of the earnings season with Pfizer, Merck, McDonald's, and Caterpillar, along with earnings reports from Pampa Energía, Ternium, and YPF.
Wednesday, August 5: Final composite PMI for July for the Eurozone, the United Kingdom, and the U.S. Results from Uber Technologies, Walt Disney, CVS Health, Eli Lilly, Global Payments, eBay, and Motorola Solutions. Metrogas and Mercado Libre will present their quarterly earnings.
Thursday, August 6: Retail sales for June in the Eurozone. Weekly unemployment claims in the U.S. Results from Fiserv, Warner Bros Discovery, Ralph Lauren, Fox, and Airbnb. INDEC will report on the mining industrial production index for June. The BCRA will publish the Foreign Direct Investment Report and the Market Expectations Survey (REM) for July. BYMA will present its earnings report.
Friday, August 7: Unemployment rate for July in the U.S. INDEC will announce the manufacturing industrial production index for June and the construction activity indicators for June. Telecom will present its earnings report.
