Dunamu Receives the 56th Customs Commissioner Award
Dunamu announced on the 2nd that its employees were awarded the 56th Customs Commissioner Award for their contributions to combating new trade crimes involving the misuse of digital assets. The Customs Service selects and awards individuals who have contributed to the development of customs administration every year on July 27, the anniversary of its establishment. This award recognizes the efforts of private virtual asset operators who have cooperated in cracking down on illegal foreign exchange transactions and trade crimes involving the misuse of digital assets. So Min-seop, head of Dunamu's FDI team, and Kim Sung-yong, a researcher in the FDI team, have provided technical support and expert advice to the Customs Service during the process of tracking illegal foreign exchange transactions and the movement of criminal proceeds. They have contributed to strengthening the digital investigative capabilities of customs administration by analyzing the Customs Service's cases related to digital assets and sharing crime analysis know-how with investigators and staff. Dunamu has played a crucial role in establishing a public-private cooperation system with the Customs Service and improving the effectiveness of foreign exchange crime crackdowns by refining the cooperative response system against new trade crimes linked to digital assets.
