Commerce Employees to Receive 5.7% Raise and Bonus of 25,000 in August
Commerce employees will receive a salary increase of 5.7% in August as part of the agreement between the Argentine Federation of Commerce and Service Employees (FAECyS) and the business chambers of the sector. This increase is distributed in three installments of 1.9% each, with the second increase applied in August following the first in July. Additionally, a non-remunerative extraordinary bonus of 50,000 will be paid, divided into two installments of 25,000, with the second part disbursed along with the August salary. The new salary scales were calculated based on the salaries in effect in June, including non-remunerative amounts from the previous agreement. The basic salaries for July will serve as a reference for the second installment of the increase in August, which will apply to categories such as Maintenance, Administrative, Cashiers, and Salespeople. The agreement will remain in effect until September 2026, with a commitment to reassess the economic situation in October.
