Bitcoin options market turns bullish as ETF inflows rise

Bitcoin's derivatives market is becoming more bullish, with demand shifting toward call options, while spot traders remain hesitant to pursue moves above 80000 dollars. Glassnode's Market Pulse indicates that aggressive selling on centralized exchanges continues to outweigh buying, limiting broad market participation. Bitcoin traded around 78800 dollars on Tuesday after failing to maintain its position above 80000 dollars, highlighting the gap between speculative positioning and actual spot demand. The options market shows a notable shift, with the 25-delta skew moving to -2.05% from +0.79%, indicating increased demand for upside exposure. US spot Bitcoin ETFs saw net inflows of 681.2 million dollars, up from 247.8 million dollars, suggesting institutional interest remains strong despite Bitcoin's struggles. However, the spot cumulative volume delta remains negative at 29.6 million dollars, indicating sellers still dominate the market. The perpetual futures market reflects similar caution, with a negative CVD at -176 and declining long-side funding payments. While ETF investors are increasing capital and options traders are willing to pay more for upside, the lack of aggressive buying pressure on exchanges suggests that Bitcoin has yet to establish the demand necessary to hold above 80000 dollars. A positive CVD alongside strong ETF inflows could signal a shift in market sentiment.
