Binance Signs Three Agreements with Kazakhstan to Launch Stablecoin
Binance has signed three memorandums with government and financial institutions in Kazakhstan to explore the possibility of issuing a stablecoin. The agreements cover the development of digital assets, payment infrastructure, and attracting international investments. The documents were signed with the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development, the National Bank of Kazakhstan, and the Astana International Financial Centre. The collaboration with the Ministry involves studying the issuance of a stablecoin and developing infrastructure for digital payments. The agreement with the National Bank includes the development of payment and digital financial infrastructure, as well as the potential to transform Kazakhstan into a regional fintech hub. The third memorandum concerns the investment tax residency program and the expansion of the use of digital assets in investment infrastructure. Kazakhstan plans to invest $70 billion in crypto assets and derivatives, and is also implementing new regulations for strategic digital mining.
