Ansem: Meme Coins as the Core Entry Point for Retail Investors, Need to Establish Long-Term Value
On July 15, renowned crypto KOL Ansem stated that Meme coins continue to be popular in the market because they align with the internet behavior habits of ordinary users. While most people spend hours each day browsing social media platforms, they only use banking apps for a few minutes daily, making Meme coins more appealing for user participation in internet culture. Ansem pointed out that the success of Dogecoin attracted users who would not typically buy stocks, as they were willing to purchase Meme coins associated with familiar figures and internet culture. Once the asset scale is large enough, institutional funds will also participate in trading, creating a positive cycle. He believes that many traditional investors underestimate the younger generation's recognition of Memes, internet culture, and content, and the crypto industry offers a unique way to bet on these social cultural trends through tokenization. The key for the future of the industry lies in how to convert the traffic brought by retail investor attention into an ecosystem that can create long-term value, rather than relying solely on the popularity of Memes themselves.
