According to Cointelegraph, the DeFi protocol Aave submitted an emergency motion in New York on Monday, requesting the withdrawal of a restraining notice from the U.S. law firm Gerstein Harrow LLP that prevents Arbitrum DAO from transferring 30,766 ETH to the victims of the Kelp vulnerability.

Gerstein Harrow LLP delivered the restraining notice to Arbitrum DAO last Friday, claiming that its client is entitled to over $877 million in damages from a default judgment against North Korea. The law firm stated that the North Korean hacker group behind the Kelp vulnerability had previously held these tokens, thus giving its client a legal claim to the related ETH.
