If you search "Robinhood Chain explorer," the results are a trap disguised as a directory. The first page mixes the real block explorer with a cluster of lookalike domains — robinscan, hoodscan, rh-scan and similar names ending in .xyz, .pro or .info — that copy Blockscout's layout and wait for you to connect a wallet. On a chain that crossed $100 million in value within a week of launch, that ambiguity is expensive.

This guide does the one thing the SERP does not: it tells you which Robinhood Chain explorer is official, gives you the exact network details to confirm you are on the real chain, shows you how to actually read the explorer, and lays out the scam patterns that are already draining wallets. If you only take one thing away: the official explorer lives at robinhoodchain.blockscout.com, and everything else needs verifying before you touch it with a wallet.

What the Robinhood Chain explorer actually shows

A block explorer is a public search engine for a blockchain — every transaction, address, token and block is visible without an account. Robinhood Chain runs a Blockscout-powered explorer, the same open-source tool used by dozens of other networks, so if you have used Etherscan or a similar site the interface will feel familiar.

Robinhood Chain Explorer: How to Find the Official One

Robinhood Chain itself is an Arbitrum-based Ethereum Layer 2, launched to mainnet on July 1, 2026. It settles to Ethereum, uses Ethereum blobs for data availability, and — this matters for reading the explorer — uses ETH as its native gas token, not a separate "HOOD" coin. As of mid-July 2026 the chain was processing more than 10 million transactions a day at roughly 100-millisecond block times, so the explorer's feed moves fast.

The explorer is where you confirm what a wallet or a DEX told you actually happened on-chain: whether a swap settled, what a token contract really is, and where funds went. That verification habit is exactly what the copycat sites are counting on you skipping.

Which Robinhood Chain explorer is the official one

There is one canonical explorer, published in Robinhood's own developer documentation, plus a separate one for the test network. Treat any other domain as unverified until proven otherwise.

    ExplorerURLNetworkStatus
Robinhood Chain (Blockscout)robinhoodchain.blockscout.comMainnetOfficial, listed in Robinhood docs
Robinhood Chain Testnet (Blockscout)explorer.testnet.chain.robinhood.comTestnetOfficial, testnet only
robinscan / hoodscan / rh-scan / hoodexplorer variantsassorted .io, .xyz, .pro, .info domains—Unverified — do not connect a wallet

The tell is simple: the official mainnet explorer is a Blockscout subdomain (blockscout.com) and the official testnet explorer sits under Robinhood's own chain.robinhood.com domain. Standalone branded names like "Robinscan" or "HoodScan" are not referenced anywhere in Robinhood's documentation. They may be harmless mirrors — or they may be harvesting wallet signatures. You cannot tell by looking, which is the whole problem, so default to the documented domains.

Network details that confirm you are on the real chain

Before an explorer or a wallet prompt earns your trust, the underlying chain parameters have to match Robinhood's published spec. If a site or a "add network" popup shows a different chain ID or a made-up gas token, you are not on Robinhood Chain. These are the values from Robinhood's connection docs, current as of July 2026.

Chain ID 4663 is the single most useful number here. A wallet cannot fake it silently — if you add the network manually and the chain ID does not read 4663, stop. The gas token being plain ETH is the second checkpoint: any prompt asking you to buy a special "gas coin" to use Robinhood Chain is a scam, because the chain does not have one.

How to read the explorer: transactions, tokens and addresses

Once you are on the real explorer, the workflow is the same one experienced traders use on Solscan or any block explorer: paste an identifier into the search bar and read what the chain says back.

Paste a transaction hash to confirm a swap or transfer settled — look for a "Success" status, the exact amount, and the from/to addresses. Paste a wallet address to see its full balance and history, which is how you check that funds actually arrived rather than trusting a DEX confirmation screen. Paste a token contract address to verify a token is what it claims: check the holder count, the transfer history, and whether the contract is verified. This last step is the one that separates a real tokenized asset from a honeypot — a token with three holders and a locked sell function is a red flag no matter how legitimate its ticker looks.

The practical point most explorer pages skip: the explorer is a verification tool, not a trading venue. It confirms history; it never asks you to sign anything. If an "explorer" pops a wallet-connect or signature request, that alone tells you it is not doing an explorer's job.

Robinhood Chain scams: fake explorers and wallet drainers

New chains draw scammers the way new listings draw them, and Robinhood Chain was no exception. Within roughly ten days of mainnet, security researchers and outlets including Protos documented a familiar wave: honeypot contracts, memecoin rug pulls, phishing links, and wallet drainers, with traders posting real losses on social media. Early on-chain activity has leaned toward memecoin trading and DeFi experimentation rather than the tokenized-equity use case Robinhood is building toward, which is exactly the environment these attacks thrive in.

Fake explorers are part of that toolkit. A lookalike "scan" site can show you accurate-looking data to build trust, then surface a "connect wallet to see your portfolio" button that routes to a drainer contract. Real block explorers never need your wallet connected to display public data.

    A short, practical checklist:

    • Only open the explorer from Robinhood's official documentation, not from a search ad or a social post.
    • Confirm chain ID 4663 before approving any "add network" request.
    • Never sign a transaction or connect a wallet to a site whose only job should be reading the chain.
    • Verify a token's contract on the official explorer before buying — check holders and transfer history, not just the name.
    • Remember that Robinhood's tokenized stocks are the legitimate use case here; a random "RH" or "HOOD" memecoin on the chain is not an official product.

    FAQ

    1. What is the official Robinhood Chain explorer URL?

The mainnet explorer is robinhoodchain.blockscout.com, a Blockscout instance listed in Robinhood's developer documentation. The testnet uses explorer.testnet.chain.robinhood.com. Any other branded "scan" domain should be treated as unverified.

    2. Is Robinscan or HoodScan the same as the official explorer?

No confirmed connection exists. Those names do not appear in Robinhood's documentation. They may be mirrors or may be malicious; because you cannot tell by appearance, use the documented Blockscout domain instead of connecting a wallet to an unknown site.

    3. Does Robinhood Chain have its own gas token?

No. Robinhood Chain uses ETH as its native gas token. Any site or popup asking you to buy a special "Robinhood Chain coin" to pay for gas is a scam.

    4. How do I confirm I am on the real Robinhood Chain?

Check the network parameters against Robinhood's docs: chain ID 4663 on mainnet, ETH as the gas token, and the official RPC and explorer domains. Chain ID is the hardest value to fake and the fastest thing to check.

    5. Why are there so many fake Robinhood Chain explorers?

Because the chain launched with real money and heavy attention — over $100 million in value within a week — and new chains attract phishing, drainers and honeypots. Copying a public Blockscout layout is trivial, so lookalike explorers are a cheap way to catch users who skip verification.

    Risk Warning

Crypto assets and on-chain activity are volatile and can result in partial or total loss of funds. Interacting with Robinhood Chain carries specific risks: phishing sites and fake block explorers can impersonate official tools to trigger wallet-draining signatures; honeypot and rug-pull tokens can trap buyers even when a token's name looks legitimate; and tokenized stocks may carry ownership, custody, and redemption caveats that differ from holding the underlying equity. A block explorer only displays public data — it should never require a wallet connection or signature, and any that does should be treated as hostile. Always confirm network details (chain ID 4663, ETH gas) and open the explorer only from Robinhood's official documentation. Nothing here is investment advice; verify every contract and domain yourself before committing funds.
